Apart from an interesting landscape, Portugal, as one of the oldest European countries, provides a rich culture and historical sites of interest. The country offers a beautiful climate and extraordinary film locations.
Even though Portugal is quite a small country, the variety of locations and settings is astonishing. Ranging from historical manor estates (“Quintas”), churches, medieval castles, exquisite palaces and old stone houses to modern architecture. It boasts romantic mountainscapes and spacious landscapes with fields or vineyards as well as rocky or sandy beaches.
From bustling cities, mountains, deserts to tropical gardens; the variety is enormous and most of the locations in Portugal have not been discovered by the Media so far.
Portugal has approx. 12 hours of daylight during the summer months (sunrise 6.30 am, sunset 8.30 pm).
The amazing sunset in the Atlantic Ocean is perfect for any movie scene, a documentary, or simply to enjoy when the camera stops rolling.
